For any designer, this project is absolute magic. Watching colors brought to life through the vibrations of sound and then captures permanently in this state is breathtaking. They’re called sound sculptures and this particular project was created by Dentsu London in collaboration with biochemist/photographer, Linden Gledhill for Canon new PIXMA campaign.
A balloon was stretched over a speaker and a few drops of paint were placed on the balloon. Lindon shot the paint in that fraction of a second with a a Canon 5D Mark II, with a Canon EF 100mm Macro IS USM lens. His complete gallery of these images can be found here.
